Bill, what you've posted has been discussed many times over the years. You are right,except about Bird. If I need an E sharp, I'll type in an E natural and then pen in a sharp symbol. No big deal. The notation program is only a very small part of BIAB. Most of the folks here use other notation programs to print music. There are many other things that are wrong with the notation program.
