With the frequent confusion when inadvertently enter DAW mode, here is my effort at custom skins for 2022 version. The main change is that DAW mode indicator is shown in Red when DAW mode is selected.
Extract the contents of the zip file to your x:\bb\Data\CustomSkins\ folder, creating a new sub-folder 'AT_Skins_2022'
Then in BiaB Display Options (right-click on a chord cell to choose from the context menu), choose the Custom Skins button (lower LH corner) and select AT_Skins_2022 from the available options, as shown in the 2nd image below.

Windows 10 (64bit) M-Audio Fast Track Pro, Band in a Box 2025, Cubase 14, Cakewalk and far too many VST plugins that I probably don't need or will ever use
not working for me in my german localized version of Biab 2022. See screenshot - the new skin folder is not showing up in the possible skins to choose.
Why is that?
Aha, I found it. In the localized version there is a different skin folder - in my case "bb\Data\CustomSkinsG". Putting it there did the trick.

I keep track of the icons I like better, which up to now has been the transport icons I made colorized versions of several years ago. There are fewer than ten lines I modify from the default settings.
I ran into trouble a few years ago, one year after first modifying the default. Since then, I make a copy of the default and modify only a few lines on my copy each year.

Thinking about the Transport buttons that you worked on (about 2017?), and we updated in 2021, it had occurred to me that the DAW mode buttons might also be handled the same way, so I went looking and found the goods.
The trickiest bit was finding the correct bitmap graphics for the "2022 New Features". I could find the one for the original user interface (large icons), but it took a while to find the one required for the minimal screen interface. I needed to make sure that they showed the correct dates also.
