Have you located the source of the hum? If it is from your guitar(s) then yes a noise gate pedal will work. But if the hum isn't from your guitar(s) then a noise gate pedal will not work.

Maybe a power conditioner with enough outlets so you can plug all of your equipment in to it i.e. amp, computer, near field monitors, etc. I use two Furman RackRiders.
