yes, you're right, I was a bit imprecise there: I'm talking about MIDI tracks/notations, of course. With audio tracks, this would indeed be difficult or even impossible to realize.
Why is would like this function? From time to time I scan sheet music, then read and convert them to MIDI notation using MusiTEK Smartscore, which does a really good job with notation recognition. But since swing notes on leadsheets are generally notated as eighth notes, of course, the MIDI files are written in the even feel, and when I import them into Band in a Box, they stay even.
