Is anybody having problems with Sonar dropping notes when using soft synths Like TTS-1 or Coyote? I don't have any problems when using other midi sources.

Hi,
Does anyone know if the SD-50 can be set up to do a split? I didn't see it in the manual.
Maybe they have presets of bass/piano? My keyboard doesn't have the split feature so I can't use that.

I saw an ancient version of BiaB still in the package in the back area of the parents music store. Nobody is going to buy that now, unless it is at a loss. Guitars don't change quite as fast as technology.
I am trying to convince them there is money to be made in this area, but they are hesitant, and justifiably so.

I've often thought that music stores ought to host live demos a couple times a year in which somebody comes in and sets up BIAB, a good synth module, a good vocal processor and a guitar effects rack or pedalboard that is midi controllable.
I think if the average musician saw how BIAB can take care of patch changes, harmonies, rapid song generation, and high quality playback through a good module, the store wouldn't be able to keep the gear on the shelves. (Especially if the display started just before Christmas.)
Barring a live demo, I think it would be in PGMusic's best interest to make a video that really shows off the product and make it available to music stores who carry the product. If it played in the background while people browsed, it would get a lot of attention. Its hard not to be blown away by the possibilities... but most people just don't know about it, or they haven't seen it used to its full potential.
