Officially Cakewalk stopped supporting Windows 7 when Microsoft support for Windows 7 ended. Microsoft continues to support Windows 8 and 8.1 and Windows 10 so Cakewalk does support all of those. However as Microsoft ends support, so will Cakewalk.

Unofficially, Cakewalk works with Windows 7 just fine. The Cakewalk forum has numerous users that use the DAW on Windows 7 computers.

Ian, There are two ways to install Cakewalk, using the Bandlab Assistant application or using an installer downloaded direct from the web.

If you tried using the Bandlab Assistant and it didn't work, try the +++ CAKEWALK WEB INSTALLER +++.
