Ian, There are two ways to install Cakewalk, using the Bandlab Assistant application or using an installer downloaded direct from the web.

If you tried using the Bandlab Assistant and it didn't work, try the +++ CAKEWALK WEB INSTALLER +++.

Yes Jim, Bandlab Assistant binned me. Lol.
However, your link worked and it DLd fine with just a pop up note saying Win7 isn't supported and might not work. It does! Only Melodyne took its bat and ball home and refused to install. No issue there.
