Out of the box it will detect your DAW and set it up. The manual is not that clear however on how you can use it for other uses. I found this YouTube video which explained how.

Thanks for the info. I have had my eye on the Mixface for some time. I own the SL88 Studio. However, your's is one of the more favoralble reviews I have read. Others have not been so positive. If I had read this a month ago, you might have convinced me. grin

I got the Nano years ago but only recently have gotten use out of it. It is not "plug and play". Drivers, control software and DAW configuration is critical to its operation.

I have now found users reviews on the Sparrow 3x100mm MIDI controller which make be feel better about the order. Time will tell.
