The music is very nice.
The tempo change comes rather unexpected. Maybe it's an idea to use a full stop on the last chord before the tempo changes.
The call and answer is a good idea. We hear the organ on the left (earbuds) and the guitar in the middle.
Why not let the guitar come from the right?
Just some ideas.

Thanks for listening and the useful comments.
It never occurred to me to do a full stop, wouldn't that be more unexpected? Maybe unexpected is more pleasing? I actually increased from 90 to 110 to 120 over 3 bars thinking it would be gradual.
As for the left-right balance on the guitar and organ, that is a great idea! Panning one left and the other right would make the call-answer more dramatic.

I gave this a listen because I'm interested in the underused ability to change tempo. But I have to say, in this case, it doesn't sound very musical, it sounds like a turntable speeding up uncontrollably. Going from 90 to 120 over 3 bars is NOT gradual! =8^)

Got any tips on tempo changes? Gradual vs sudden? If gradual, over how many bars? Jeez, I don't know, I'm tempted to Google up some recommendations then pass them off as my own, but let me not. =8^) To be clear, it wasn't so much a musical judgment I was making, as in "too much accelerandissimo!", it was more like: "What I just heard sounded like somebody turned a knob, and now a machine is going much faster." I didn't especially care for the effect, but it may have been exactly what you wanted. It would certainly work for a DJ! Personally, I think I would go for a full stop followed by an unexpected temp change, which isn't liable to sounding artificially smooth in transition.

Much appreciated. Not sure if my bass playing is up to a step-change in tempo after a full stop but I'll give it a try.
My other option is to just keep the tempo constant.

Things are starting to gel for you.
I'm an not a fan of that abrupt tempo change. I would have liked to hear a subtle tempo change, say 90 to 95, then back down to 90. I have slightly increased my tempo during a chorus then back down during the following verse. YMMV
