It starts again at the very next bar, or several bars further along?

Is it the same number of bars every time or does this change?

Do you have any other programs running at the same time, and if you stop them, does the problem continue?

Is this with every song, or only one song?

Do you have Mute All bars (function key <F5>) set anywhere in the song?

If you start Task Manager (right-click on the task bar), are other programs using high CPU resources?
