Hello all,
is there somebody using a Midi Accordion with Biab for performances directly?
Does that make sense?
I would be interessted in an exchange of use cases. :-)

There are a few forum users that play accordion with Band-in-a-Box so hopefully you will get a response. Unfortunately though I am not an accordion player.
However, do you mind clarifying your question, "is there somebody using a Midi Accordion with Biab for performances directly?"
Do you mean you are playing your accordion while accompanied by Band-in-a-Box backing tracks are playing?

Stefan, I generally use a midi accordion (biab midi Patch) in songs in biab, no tips or tricks really, just load it and play, such as is this song, Copy and paste is my friend here, when dealing with repeating parts. Hey Musiclover, Jim, all,
heart warming folk music ML. I liked you songs. Especially where you sing a whole professional biography :-)
My thinking on making use is around triggering the chords of a style while I am playing the chords on the left hand side (for accompanyment) of the accordion. I that something one could do?
Otherwise trigger getting my midi playing into the song, so that plays the notes I press on the accordion - not necessarily in record mode. Just to play along. I love to play along with ´stuff :-)
Any other interessting usage?

If it's live playing with biab you are after, then no better man to talk to than user Furry (Graham)from Scotland who plays accordion with biab.
I'm sure if you see him around here or contact him, he will be able to give you a few pointers.
As regards triggering chords either another user or PGmusic can help you here with that question, as I don't play accordion myself (love the sound though)
