Subject says it really.
On MIDI tracks, I see quite a lot of tracks that will play C-E-G for, e.g., a C5, where I expect just C-G or C-G-C. Otherwise, what purpose does C5 have?
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.
