For me, using pitch correction is a bit of a crutch. It's always best to go back and sing it right. Sometimes I just get lazy. Or I'll decide after the fact that I want to change the phrasing, so I'll just time-stretch my vocals instead of singing them again.

And because we're so used to hearing over-tuned vocals, I suspect that makes it easier to accept computer generated vocals.

That is, after being so used to having the life squashed out of vocals by auto-tuning them, digital vocals with pitch issues start to almost sound more human than human vocals! wink
