From the first time I meet him here in the forum I referred to Carlos as Maestro [an eminent composer, teacher, or conductor of music]. His music give me inspiration at the time. I bumped into him recently over in the Scaler forum where he was a positive contributor. Sad news.
This is very sad news. He was a terrific player and important contributor here. I think he was the moderator of the Spanish language forum here; someone who reads Spanish can confirm.
BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.
I remember seeing something on those lines as well. I have used Some Of Carlos tracks in a couple projects before. He was a master at his craft, and i nice gentleman to talk with here on the forum. He will be remember here and in the music community.
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.
Windows 10 (64bit) M-Audio Fast Track Pro, Band in a Box 2025, Cubase 14, Cakewalk and far too many VST plugins that I probably don't need or will ever use
When I needed 14 medical phrases translated to Spanish, Carlos jumped in immediately, even recruiting his wife Anna to give a maternal touch, certainly well "beyond the call".
English translation of the article SwingBabyMix linked to:
This Saturday, the Minister of People's Power for Communication and Information, Freddy Nañez, reported that the legendary guitarist from Tachira Carlos Eduardo Arellano passed away.
Through his Twitter account, @luchaalmada wrote: "Now jazz is sadder because it is more alive and the guitar is powerfully alone in the concert that remains to be heard." See you every time master!
He was born in Ciudad Bolívar on February 22, 1957 and at the age of 4 his family moved to the state of Táchira in the south west of the country. At the age of 8 he began his musical studies with maestro Emilio Biggi and at 10 he entered the Miguel Ángel Espinel School of Music in the city of San Cristóbal and carried out formal studies in classical guitar, harmony, history and musical theory, according to the blog of he.
In his adolescence and thanks to the powerful sound movements of the 70s, Carlos discovers diverse musical aspects that dramatically influence his musical career and that range from traditional Andean and Afro-Venezuelan to rock, blues and jazz.
Carlos Eduardo Arellano currently works as an independent consultant in the area of music production and performing activities and jobs as Beta Tester, creator of demos and presets, technical support, main moderator host in forums for companies and developers in the area of music computing and audio such as: PG Music (Band-in-a-Box) Overloud, Rob Papen, UJAM, Synapse Audio, Sugar Bytes, kv331 SynthMaster, DS-Audio, Feel Your Sound, Audio Modern, Cable Guys, Scaler (Plugin Boutique), VirtualGuitarForum (Boss Roland libraries), WA Production, Venomode.
In recent years he has been delving into the subject of electronic music.
+++ HERE +++ is a remembrance posted in the Scaler forum.

Sorry to read that. Moreover, it happens that Peruvian guitar player Ramon Stagnaro passed away on 02.16.22. Two legends who capitalized on their classical guitar skills to make us love jazz/latin music..

A little present left behind by Carlos. I can't tell you how much he inspired me and how much his passing has effected me. This was a wonderful gift from him to his fans.
