I believe it was a long time coming - it should have happened sooner. Hip Hop has been around long enough that some performers have been accepted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. It is not going away. Like it or not it is a music genre.

Fun stuff. Article has some surprisingly positive remarks about compression, which you kind of need lots of if you’re a string trio playing a stadium.

Anyway, think I’ll jump in and mention that I, too, didn’t watch the game. I do hope this thread isn’t just an attempt to troll up cultural grievances.
