I have Acoustic Legens HD this and it has samples of several guitars worth $40,000. I find the sounds excellent and as the link I provide with some experts agree with me. It has a Taylor Guitar, Gibson and others even exotic and really expensive guitars. It has picked version of the guitar and fingerpicking versions. Acoustic Legends HD can be used in BIAB as the sound source to improve the guitar sound using it as a VSTi plugin within Kontakt- i.e. within BIAB you invoke Kontakt in the Plugins Column for the Guitar track and within Kontakt you select Acoustic Legends HD and then choose the guitar and pick/fingerstyle you want. https://www.bigfishaudio.com/Acoustic-Legends-HDThe cost today is $99 but it may go on sale. Every time I see links to acoustic guitar VSTi packages I think of this slightly different option: " Guitarron". Guitar family, but a distinct sound.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.

Peter K. Hewer, thanks for the post. Band-in-a-Box has some really good styles with nice sounding MIDI strumming patterns.
When you find a style with a MIDI strum pattern you like do you find the effectiveness of the pattern depends on which virtual guitar you choose? For example are some patterns more effective with nylon strings versus steel strings?
