I'm so glad you found the Showcase (and BIAB). It is a joy listening to your music.
I agree with ray on The Band reference - it would have been one that Levon Helm would take the lead...
An excellent sound. I like the mix. (one small note - the BIAB pianos are often pretty mid-range-y and can use a bit of high end brightening to keep them from getting too close to the BIAB mid-range-y rhythm guitars)
Killer vocals and harmonies.
Good Music. Thanks for the great feedback & advice Floyd... I normally make use of a Hi-Pass filter on Piano RTs. I call it "mud removal".

Excellent vocals, and the harmonies are perfect and perfectly placed. A very engaging song with a catchy melody. Man, Brent is always a good choice. An outstanding professional sound, bloc-head. Anyway, I love it!

Andi ;-) Thanks Andi, I'll have to check out "Jimmy Barnes" Bloc...you are sneaking up my favorite artist on this forum list very quickly...what a great song...man I hope you're pitching this to someone in the country music business...you like to play with us on those intros don't you? the accordion had me thinking we're headed down a completely different road...the lyrics are so modern day country top level...the mix is fantastic and the solo lead was perfect for the song...the melody is so, so good and the harmony is superb!...you're vocal was top-notch you're Southeast USA accent is showing on this one for sure and that's country brother!! yep you're definitely on my list and on the move...what a great song!! Sure do appreciate those kind words... I really admire your talent, and skills. Hi, bloc-head. As firesong said, that intro kept me guessing where the song was headed. Neat! Hey this sounds really good Bloc-head. Very soulful. Hey, I see you are selling this for $10? Did you mean $1? Are people gonna pay that much for one song??  Sounds good though! I forget what band it was but a few years ago, a band, sold ONE copy of their new album...... yep, just one. It was several hundred thousand IIRC. Bloc.... what a cool song. Yep, I hear the Band in there as well as a touch of Springsteen in the accordion. Those vocal harmonies are spot on. Sweet as honey. Nice choice on the instruments and very tastefully mixed. grin;-) If I can just sell this one song, I'll be $10 richer... Thanks
