"Might as well just take my old black dog out for a run Oh yeah, I got those no inspiration blues" Oh yes. Those lines say it in volumes. This is blues  Sitting there at my desk... as I am writing this song..... and yeah, while it came out pretty fast.... there was that eternal songwriter quandry.... OK that last line seems to work ok... staring at a blank sheet no ideas seem to come.......what's next.... and I look down and see my dog Lilly, laying on her bed in the corner of the studio, and bam!!! Might as well take my old black dog out for a walk.... wait, walk doesn't rhyme..... RUN..... yeah that fits.... Thanks
