Back At It

Those of you whom have been around for awhile may remember that JonD and I did a number of songs together. Unfortunately for the past two years JonD has had some major health issues. He has been in hospital a lot in that time period. He was feeling much better and came over last week. We came up with this chord progression. I was going to play my part and when JonD got back into playing shape he was going to add his part. Unfortunately he is back in the hospital so I finished the song.

BiaB style = Slow Soul - Smooth Jazz - Soulful
Tempo = 65 BPM

I deleted the guitar track
Bass - Ample - Upright
Piano - EZ Keys - Dream Machine - preset Dream Weaver
Drums and percussion - various drums that I have
Me - Guitar
Me - via my wind controller - Swam - Bari sax

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Glad to see you're back at it, Mario. This is a very relaxing piece. Your sax sounds much more realistic than my various sound samples by Reason.
very nice guitar work. Well done.

That's tough, Mario. I don't know JonD, but he surely seems inspirational. I love the changes and that sax is really special. Your tasteful guitar is always the star of the show, and you included the perfect supporting cast.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Loved this Mario. Guitar phrasing was excellent. Beautiful tone. Sax was very cool.

Good stuff Mario...as usual your touch is always so cool...your sensibilities with a melody makes each piece you do so good...what do you have to know to play a wind controller (flute, sax,??)...I'd like to learn to do that.

We remember those collabs and wish him the best.

Your guitar and sax are excellent. T
That wind controller has and continues to amaze us.

This one exudes taste in performance and arrangement!
