Musically, you have a nice mix.... Guitars sound good. Love that crunchy distortion you get from the Marshall and the Bruno/Squire guitars. Back in the day I had a Big Muff Pi..... that was an essential. Vox are a bit low but that's normal in rock so it's all good.

Nice work.

The lyrics are in the OP for you now.
I'd love a Pi - they're a bit expensive for my limited use...only in the intro on this one.
Thank you sir.

This is good. Excellent work on the video. Excellent vocalist and Peters guitar work was excellent. I found the guitars on the sides a bit jangly and it was hard for me to make out the lyrics. They gave the song a cool vibe so maybe a bit of a bump in the vocal volume. Very cool tune though Well done

Ray, you sure have a lot going on in this tune! It's a heavy rock sound that has so many interesting little changes in chord structure and melody. You always seem to do that with your tunes. I really like that "acoustic" sound one of the guitars produces, it's a nice contrast to the distorted guitars. Excellent video work also! Thanks, Torrey

Especially chilling in light of current events...

Great production Ray. You have the ability to create mixes from tracks that for many mixers would sound dense ...
yet you managed to set every track on a distinct piece of the soundstage. Well done.

The performances by you, Eric, Stephen and the guitar guy (he seems familiar) are all hittin' the note.

And all of the above proved to be a great audio track for an excellent video.

And again...THAT LYRIC.

Hi Ray,
Good song, excellent production. Vocalist does a fine job and Peter's guitar is very well suited to the song. Much enjoyed.

Leon

Hello Ray,

At first I thought it was you singing (with your newfound courage to sing louder), but then I read it was Eric. Were you singing in the back then?
The song is powerful till the end and the lyrics fits well in it, though a bit dark.
Although it's not my favorite genre, as I told you before, it has the 'magnetism' to keep listening to it.
That's what I did... (2x)

Thanks Torrey,
Eric's little 12 acoustic part does at an element of surprise and welcome texture doesn't it?

Thanks Janice & Bud,
Thematically it does fit various situations in our world.
That "guitar guy" does alright eh?

hello & thanks Hans,
Stephen's singing is good - he sings in a few performing bands as well as in a solo act in fact.
No vocal from me on this one. I did have bvox prepared but Stephen produced three sets of his own so it made absolute sense to use them.
I'm glad it held your attention.

Sounds pro to me.

As was mentioned, a wall of solid, unrelenting guitar sound.

Not my style, but I can appreciate it the craftsmanship. laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Thanks dc,
The inspiration, musically, was the 2nd Stooges album, Funhouse, so unrelenting is how I hoped it'd be.
