I bought this Gretsch Rat Rod used and the previous owner installed Kluson Revolution Locking tuners before I bought the guitar. They are 19:1 ratio. I’m sort of ashamed to admit that in a year of ownership and probably 100 hours of use, I haven’t changed the strings yet to experience the benefits during a string change. That said I can’t say that they help keep the guitar in tune better than the factory tuners. I do use the Bigsby for a little natural chorus on ends of phrases. They do not help with big temperature swings like at our church where the temp can increase 15 degrees f from pre service run through to the end of the service!
