I was using MiniHost to access my Wallander Instruments VST sounds.
I just got a new i7 PC running Windows 7 64bit. I was told that MiniHost would not work in 64bit.

Can I use any of the PG music programs to access my Wallander VST sounds?

In my opinion these types of VST's such as Wallander

http://www.wallanderinstruments.com/?mode=products&lang=en

and the East-West libraries

http://www.eastwestsamples.com/

are best handled in a sequencer such as Sonar for example. I recently purchased the East-West Composers Collection (on a very good Easter special). You can get BIAB to generate a midi file or files (and audio of course to complement). The instruments in these libraries can then be arranged to run from these midi files in the sequencer and modified note by note in the piano view mode if and as required. There's much more flexibility in handling things this way.

We recently used a BIAB backing (midi and audio) with the EW Symphonic choir (with wordbuilder- allowing you to tell the choir what words to sing) and harpsichord to very good effect using this approach.
