Love the change in POV in the second verse. I didn't expect it, and again: it works really well.

My only complaint is that I would have liked another round of the chorus.

Or even better, make the second time through the chorus a duet. That would be so pretty! And entirely unnecessary, but I think it would work nicely here. A little bit of echo, like:

      Male: What's an extra mile...
      Female, echoing: What's an extra mile?
      Together: If it shows what's in our hearts

But you know me, I throw gratuitous harmony on everything. wink

I understand the notion that a duet lives in there somewhere. But, as written, it would be a bit lopsided. Another go at the chorus? - then the song gets a bit long (and we all get so easily bored these days smile )
