Here are a couple of tests that I ran.

With MIDI only styles:

Test 1 - 1st measure = C, 2nd = C - micro chords E7-A7-E7-B7, 3rd = Em
a-all chord played correctly
b-excluding tracks does not work.

Test 2- 1st measure = C, 2nd = E - micro chords E7-A7-E7-B7, 3rd = Em
a-all chord played correctly
b-excluding tracks does not work.

Test 3- 1st measure = E, 2nd = E - micro chords E7-A7-E7-B7, 3rd = Em
a-all chord played correctly
b-excluding tracks does not work.

With RealTracks only styles:

Repeat test 1
a-all chord played correctly
b-excluding tracks does not work

Repeat test 2
a-all chord played correctly
b-excluding tracks does not work.

Repeat test 3
a-all chord played correctly
b-excluding tracks does not work.

Note that all of the RealTracks "a-all chord played correctly" results depended entirely on the RT style. Some completely ignored the micro-chord setting. Maybe I didn't select RTs that can be used in micro-chords? I did use the latest RT and MIDI styles, i.e. those from 2021.

Maybe micro-chords are not working properly here. Thus far I have taken all micro-chords into my DAW and worked with the raw data, as that is my usual BiaB to DAW workflow.

Maybe someone can also run some tests?

The fitness trainer asked me, "What kind of a squat are you accustomed to doing?" I said, "Diddly."
