Fixed: Mute buttons should work as in BIAB Fixed: Solo buttons should work as in BIAB
Couldn't get that to work, as well as the volume per track. In fact I do not master these colors on the buttons: Blue, green, red, gray. Who knows a little more?
Hi swingbabymix, in your above picture, if you click the yellow S button again to make it grey this will disable the solo. It would then be muted since its M button is also red.
If you want only to hear the bass, you do not have to click all the other M buttons. Simply click on the s button of the bass to make it solo and the other tracks will be muted automatically.
With me nothing works apart from the style mix and it's all or nothing. Solo button does nothing, volume control either. Not seen any improvement on these points.

Please go to the bb > BBPlugin > Files folder and open the DAW Plugin Standalone version. Do the Solo/Mute buttons work here?
I had the same problem, only style mix playing. What I did was to install the 2021 Version on a different drive, to see if the problem would persist. It did not, everything was fine. To my big surprise, afterwards my 2022 was repaired. No clue why, but all is well. If I have to guess, some setting went wrong during the first Install of 2022 PlugIn. That setting was fixed by the new install of 2021.

Thank you for your feedback MoultiPass! What exactly does not work regarding the solo/mute buttons? By default, the style mix is un-muted and the individual tracks are muted (as shown in swingbabymix's picture). If you would like to hear the individual tracks so that you can solo them, you must unmute them, or mute the style mix track which will automatically unmute the individual tracks. The only restriction that the plugin has is that you cannot have the Style Mix and individual style tracks unmuted at the same time. That is because then all the instruments would be doubled as you have them appear once in the style mix and once in each individual style track. Apart from this restriction, the solo/mute buttons in the plugin should work exactly as they do in Band-in-a-Box.
My guess is that you have the Style Mix track unmuted (and consequently have the individual tracks muted) as is the default setting after generation. You begin playback, and then you solo an individual style track (ex: Bass) and nothing happens. Then you try the volume slider on the Bass track and again nothing happens. However, the individual Bass track that you are soloing and changing volume, has been muted the entire time. The bass that you are hearing is coming from the Style Mix track which has all the individual tracks mixed together onto a new track. So as mentioned, the solution would be to simply mute the Style Mix track, which will automatically unmute the individual style tracks and then mute/solo and volume should work as expected. However, you have brought up an interesting point which is that even if the Style Mix track is unmuted, soloing one of the individual tracks should automatically mute the Style Mix and unmute that individual track so that the solo/mute and volume functions are heard correctly. I hope this helps resolve your issue, and I'll make sure to add the new functionality to clear up any other confusion.
That's how it was described in the summary of the improvements of the 920 and therefore 4.5.10 In fact not settled at all for me, the Solo and Mute don't work.

I don't understand how a simple SOLO and MUTE function can become so complicated and difficult to use. Confuse all users. I suggest you to use the SOLO and MUTE of STUDIO ONE, it is very simple and convenient.
Hi swingbabymix, as I mentioned, there is only 1 unique restriction in the plugin for the style tracks MUTE/SOLO buttons which exists to prevent the doubling of instruments. Apart from that, there is virtually no difference in how they behave from standard MUTE/SOLO buttons (like in Band-in-a-Box).
If you are having the same issue as MoultiPass, which is that you can hear the Style Mix track but do not hear the individual style tracks, it could be that you are outputting the tracks to different output channels which are not actually active. If you do not intentionally have a multi-output setup, please check the blue icon on the far right of each track to ensure that it is being sent to output (St -> 1-2). If not, you can change the output channel for each track by clicking on the blue icon and changing it to (St -> 1-2). Additionally, you should confirm that the option in 'Preferences -> Rendering -> Separate Audio Output Channels' is set to DISABLED. Doing so will prevent this from happening for subsequent generations. Hope this helps!
Thanks Adar, my problem is solved, it was just this "Preferences -> Rendering -> Separate audio output channels" setting that was giving me trouble. Once changed everything works perfectly. Happy.
