Dan - thanks for the very nice comments. I appreciate having you stop by for a listen...

Your vocal take sounds extra good on this one.

And I read all the coments about your so nice song...
Are you hacked by the Russians?

Give me a clue, please!

Hans - I answered this in your thread. LOVE your new song!!!

Dear Mr. Jane.
Your music tone always sounds so good!
How do you do it? Such attention to detail.
Wow. So much better than what I can make with BB.
You really have your craft down pat.
Thanks for sharing.

Marty - nice to see you again... Most of the "detail" is accomplished in the DAW (Studio One Pro 5). And that is 70% EQ and appropriate compression when it's called for. I export all the tracks from BIAB - the whole track - then pick and choose where those tracks play (or don't) to give the arrangement/production an ebb and flow (and hopefully, interest).
Thanks for the nice comments...

Hi floyd Jane,

the guitar playing goes wonderfully well with your vocals and your lyrics. It is a very pleasant tender melody. I appreciated.

Hi Floyd,

As I told you i wasn't able to open the link to your song. Thanks you provided me that mp3 of it.
I listened to it and as I predicted, it was beautiful and I loved it (first sight).
With so few instruments you managed to make a lovely, sensitive song. And the lyrics? Well, everyone called you the wonderboy in writing lyrics like these, where few words say so much. And that's just what you are, the wonderboy/man. I only hestitated a bit telling you this, because maybe you become soooo vain. Well... on the other had, you deserve to feel that way (but don't act like it!).

Thanks for your efforts to make it possible for me to listen to this so nice song.
Heve a very nice day,
Hans

Hi floyd,

What wonderfully inspiring writing, performing and producing!

Everything about this is top-tier, first-class listening.

I love how the chorus takes a mere two words, "you say...", to change it's perspective so that what were the singer's words in chorus 1 becomes the words of "you" in chorus 2. I also loved how you slowed the lyric's flow in the second-last line of the chorus. This was both excellent musical contrast and an excellent way to shine spotlights on the title in the last line.

I thoroughly enjoyed the journey.

All the best,
Noel
