I wish the changing of clocks would be eliminated.

Now to your song. Great vocal! Needs to be brought up a little in the mix.

Cool groove. Smooth like calm water.

KILLER vocals! Very Boz-like (the music, too)
More Excellent music. Can't wait to hear what's next.

Floyd...There are a few issues that need some tweaking. I may attempt a new mix today, if I can still find the original project file...
Thanks again for the support, and helpful feedback.

Just one small suggestion - I would like to hear your voice, especially in the first verse, a little louder and less reverb - to match the first soloist volume (I think it's a Clarinet or Sax).
I think you have good voice, you sing in tune and Jazz vocalists tend to be a bit louder in the mix than in other genres.
Keep up the the great work.
Best Regards
Nigel
Thanks Nigel, I really appreciate the helpful feedback.

I agree with Marty and Nigel your vocals (all) could use some more volume and less reverb. But the whole composition and performance was very good. But that's the case with all your songs I heard.

Thanks Hans, I may attempt a remix today...

Hi Bloc-Head,

Just listened to the remix - vocals level and effects much better.

First Guitar Solo - could be louder to match later Sax Solo volume and effects.

Definitely worth working on this song - it's very good.

Best Regards
Nigel

Bloc-head ...

What a cool song! Love the Boz Skaggs delivery. He was fabulous. And so is this song. I didn't hear it before the changes, so I'm hearing this guitar-sax version. I really, really like this! You create some terrific songs and sounds.

Your vocal is just so good - I'd love to be able to sing even half that good! I'm a decent guitarist but my singing is best used to irritate people I don't appreciate.

Super cool in every way!

Take care ...

Alan

The Boz is strong with this one. wink

When I see your posts, I know I'm in for a good song, but I keep forgetting exactly how good you are, because that silly avatar and name you've got. laugh

The vocals are what sell the song, but the remix (I didn't hear the original) is great.

Love it.

One small suggestion: do you think you could perhaps share the lyrics, either on Bandcamp or on here? It would be nice to read them, too, if at all possible. If not, no worries; it's nothing major, of course.

Nice :-)
Musician17, Thanks for the great feedback... please check out the re-mix that addresses some Vocal and Solo volume issues. I'll try to find the lyrics and post.

Hi Bloc-Head,

Very soft composition due to its instrumentalization. Intimate, it's pleasant.
