Even at a symphony concert, I spend most of the time with my eyes closed. Visual information competes with audio information for attention. Turning one off, enhances the other. Now if the music is just 'chewing gum for the ears' and I'm not really interested in analyzing it, I suppose the video might be even more interesting than the music. But then, I rarely intentionally listen to music that doesn't interest me. And like I said earlier, I'm not the normal listener. I mean no disrespect to people who find the videos improve their experience. There is more than one right way to listen to music.
