I wish the changing of clocks would be eliminated.
Now to your song. Great vocal! Needs to be brought up a little in the mix.
Cool groove. Smooth like calm water.

A nice piece of work! Great composition and the entire band is in the groove. Smooth band and the vocals are tight. Very well done. Tweet tweet tweet moto Thanks Moto... much appreciated. After several weeks of slightly warmer days here, when birds have been singing nicely and even some butterflies have awakened, spring has stepped back, coldness rules again and it is snowing soon... But your song is warming and gives hope that true spring will fast-forward in its full glory. Enjoyed the funky groove and the smooth jazzy instruments, the mood is light and sunny. Great vocals and the backing vocals are very well done. Lovely bird picture Janne Thanks for your comments Janne, I'm happy you were warmed by my song... For me the first 12 seconds are amazingly evocative, it's like I'm hearing all the seeds and eggs crack open as Spring bursts. I like those rough spots a lot. Texture... Thanks Mark. This song really gives us a "spring feeling". This night time changed here too. And we've had some beautiful warm weeks, so this music is exactly on time. Very good vocals! Rob and Anne-Marie Thanks for listening and commenting Rob and Ann-Marie. I loved it. You've really got some great sounds in this melody. I agree with Marty in that it's a good vocal, I just wish it was a touch louder. I listened to some of your stuff and start to grasp how far I've got to come with production. This is great stuff. Brad, thanks for the great feedback.

Very professional-sounding. Great vibe. Vocals remind me of Bill Withers.
My music may not set the world on fire but if it causes a glow in just one person's heart, it has all been worthwhile

bloc-head, Man! you do good stuff! - with a very large palette. Excellent mix (those first few clarinet notes are a bit hot). I think the vocals sit perfectly (especially for this style). Love that bass! and the sax. Drums sound great. KILLER vocals! Very Boz-like (the music, too) More Excellent music. Can't wait to hear what's next. fj Floyd...There are a few issues that need some tweaking. I may attempt a new mix today, if I can still find the original project file... Thanks again for the support, and helpful feedback. Your singing style really fits with the arrangement! I really like the brass as well. Thank you Sir. Hi bloc-head, I thoroughly enjoyed this song - thanks. Just one small suggestion - I would like to hear your voice, especially in the first verse, a little louder and less reverb - to match the first soloist volume (I think it's a Clarinet or Sax). I think you have good voice, you sing in tune and Jazz vocalists tend to be a bit louder in the mix than in other genres. Keep up the the great work. Best Regards Nigel Thanks Nigel, I really appreciate the helpful feedback. Hi Block-head, At first the sound of that bird, followed by a funky bass, is a very nice intro! And at the end the birds dares singing again... Spring, indeed! But the song in between was very nice and swinging. I say it all the time, but KC was around. Not much this time, but still... I agree with Marty and Nigel your vocals (all) could use some more volume and less reverb. But the whole composition and performance was very good. But that's the case with all your songs I heard. Hans Thanks Hans, I may attempt a remix today...

Floyd pretty much summed it up for me, man, just one great song after another over multiple genres.
Love the guitar work, I think that is you? Very smooth and tasteful, pure class. Excellent vocal too.
Keep them coming, I'm a fan. Thanks Dave... I've just posted a Re-Mix featuring Jon Herrington and Brent Mason on solo Guitars... I hope you'll check it out...

Hi Bloc-Head,
Just listened to the remix - vocals level and effects much better.
First Guitar Solo - could be louder to match later Sax Solo volume and effects.
Definitely worth working on this song - it's very good.
Best Regards Nigel

Bloc-head ...
What a cool song! Love the Boz Skaggs delivery. He was fabulous. And so is this song. I didn't hear it before the changes, so I'm hearing this guitar-sax version. I really, really like this! You create some terrific songs and sounds.
Your vocal is just so good - I'd love to be able to sing even half that good! I'm a decent guitarist but my singing is best used to irritate people I don't appreciate.
Super cool in every way!
Take care ...
Alan

The Boz is strong with this one. When I see your posts, I know I'm in for a good song, but I keep forgetting exactly how good you are, because that silly avatar and name you've got. The vocals are what sell the song, but the remix (I didn't hear the original) is great. Love it.

The song was recorded and mastered using Cakewalk Sonar. I hope you still enjoy it... all feedback is welcome. That's what I use too....since 1994. This is a very good cut....and one I would listen to again. Smooth jazz vibe with great vox throughout. Your vocal is very clean, easy to listen to and well performed. Boz Scaggs, anyone I've threatened to learn to sing someday myself. Good stuff.

Smooth is the word for this one...this is so clean and tight...it has the smell of jazz-man (or jasmine) which ever you prefer all over it...you continue to amaze us!

Good job! The voice could be a TAD louder in the mix, perhaps? But it (the voice as well as the whole mix/production) sounds really professional ... I love it.
One small suggestion: do you think you could perhaps share the lyrics, either on Bandcamp or on here? It would be nice to read them, too, if at all possible. If not, no worries; it's nothing major, of course.
Nice :-) Musician17, Thanks for the great feedback... please check out the re-mix that addresses some Vocal and Solo volume issues. I'll try to find the lyrics and post. Hello bloc-head Sounds excellent Very good songwriting Everything is mixed great The vocals on point Really fun to listen to Many greetings Andi ;-) Thanks again Andi... Mid 70s when Boz was the buzz this would've made the charts with some big studio shining. Thanks Ray... always appreciate your insight & feedback.

Hi Bloc-Head,
Very soft composition due to its instrumentalization. Intimate, it's pleasant.
