I did just now contact the author and he told me he had no idea what that track is there for. He did note that his process for making an MP3 is to export the BIAB instrument tracks individually as .aiff files and them drag them into GarageBand (Obviously on a MAC) for rendering the final MP3. Curious.

If one renders a track into the same folder as the SGU/MGU, then BiaB may/will automatically import it into an audio track, which is probably what's happened. The usual advice, I think, is to do any renders to a sub-folder, probably due to that .aiff file.
