I just generated a jazz tune accompaniment with piano... it's good as usual, (meaning it's fantastic ok) but just there on bars 9-10 I have Dm7 G7 and the piano player does this extraordinary killer thing that I would haved done too... it's THE 'pattern' for that part of the tune and he repeats it on 11-12... which is also Dm7 G7... super... but then bar 13-14 and 15-16 are Em7 A7 and I would have loved him to do just the same thing again...but there he does .. well.. something else... gee ... can you think of a system thing or interface that would permit to choose which of the patterns 'd be used on any given measure of the song. This together with the possibiliy to 'freeze' these choices would be a major breaktrough I think.

I would freeze the song, load it into RealBand, and then regenerate those bars you want to change until you get the riff you are looking for. Or just copy from the Dm7 G7 to the EM7 A7 and move all the notes up a whole tone.
BIAB uses weightings to choose which pattern to play, so it's all up to chance which one gets selected on any particular bars.

Yes but Serge has made an excellent suggestion here.
The ability, once a regeneration has been made, to 'lock in' various bars of music simply by tagging them
in the main chord window.
This would tell BIAB not to touch them on the next regeneration.
Also the ability to tell BIAB to take the pattern being played at any bar(s)(by any selectable instrument)
and copy it to another bar on the subsequent re-generation. That 'other bar' could be exactly the same chords as the one being copied, or different ones.
This would not be that difficult to do.
There is a HUGE gap between taking a regenerated offering and tinkering with User Styles.
This would serve to fill that gap.

That would be a nice feature! Instead of freezing a whole track I also would appreciate an option to partially freeze a section of the track.

i've in a way added a seperate post suggesting the OPPOSITE of this good suggestion. It would be cool to be able to keep everything in an arrangement but tell BIAB that for a particular intrtument we DONT want what the payer is doing "here" - "try something else".
