I am just loving this, especially the way things took off when that low lead slinked under on being sent. The ending was a bit generic (just the last few seconds, which sounded kinda bolted-on.)
PS – I am trying to swear off comparisons to old guys, but "Gon’ plug in dis-lectric-git-tar, and play some BluZatChu" is Beefheart poetry.

Saw the title and wanted to say "God bless you." Man, I love the way this starts so subtle like the old blues cats, then rolls into a magnificent group of musicians playing the blues from one heart. Great mix, too, bloc-head. Great way to start, continue or end a day.

Not only is this outstanding blues it is as good as anything on Alligator Records.

Blues at it's best on display with this one, excellent vocal and playing.
Rest of the band sounds great too, love the harp.
