When you downloaded and installed your UltraPAK+, did you use the new Download Manager specifically? If so, if this was an upgrade package there's a little "Upgrade" checkbox that is checked by default once you plug in your download link from the clipboard into the Download Manager. When left checked, it will only download and install the newest content for your package. On a new machine with no prior version of Band-in-a-Box installed, you'd want to uncheck this checkbox in order to get the full package contents. If this is the method you used, you can easily discover this by one of two methods:

  • In Band-in-a-Box go to Help | What Add-Ons Do I Have and check your RealTracks and Drums under NOT Found. An UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, and Audiophile will have all the currently available RealTracks and Drums, so if any are missing, there's a good chance they weren't installed which is why you'd be getting only MIDI as the default.

OR

  • Locate your BB folder on the drive you installed your full program to, right click on it, and go to "properties". It will calculate the folder size for you. If it's anything less that ~150GB, there's a good chance your RealTracks and Drums have not been installed. If it's only a dozen or so off, using the What Add-Ons section to pinpoint what's missing makes it super easy to know which sets need to be reinstalled. If it's way off, best to just reinstall. The only time this won't be the case is if you actively have done a split install.

Hopefully that's all it is, and if it is, installing the rest of your RealTracks will fix the problem and then you'll be soaring!

If that's not the issue, let us know, we'll do our best to assist and find out what the issue is.

Cheers,
