Do these notes appear at the same location when re-playing the song? The reason I ask is to determine if awry MIDI data is encapsulated within the SGU file, or if potentially another, separate event is triggering the MIDI (a possible bad connection, faulty interface etc).

What is your MIDI configuration? Are you using a separate external MIDI interface, or an internal VSTi etc?

Can you upload the frozen song file to a file sharing service (e.g. DropBox) so others could examine?
