Mission accomplished! Your vocal with just your piano (acoustic and electric) sounds awesome to us and when the harmony, pedal steel and shaker arrive it becomes more so awesome. You really do have the modern country sound captured well in this. Stunning mix. We still love the lyric and feel that this version suits it better. We vote for this revision and that’s saying a lot from us old "hat act" country fans!  J&B

Been away for a while - so it will take me some time to "catch up"...
THANKS to all who listened and commented.
This has been a very interesting "experiment".
A real mix of comments - from "one of your best' to "one of your worst" (I'm paraphrasing, of course).
I can appreciate both types of comments.
After posting more than 200 songs in this forum, I believe this is the most "mixed" reviews I've ever had.
It's been fun to watch.
I don't intend to respond to the individual comments because I think they all speak for themselves, and make for a-good-read. And, of course, everyone's thoughts on it are valid (and welcomed, as always). I have enjoyed hearing your thoughts and opinions!

Love that electric piano opening and the gradual introduction of the instrumentation, it builds nicely! Once again, the vocals ooze with feeling and are delivered so well! Those lyrics surely speak to a lot of folks! Professional work that I recognize and appreciate! Thanks, Torrey
