In one of our previous posts I mentioned the "RnAM treat". I was referring to the way we usually approach the vocals in the choruses of our compositions; harmonies with additional layers (when possible).
We've posted many songs through the years in all kinds of different styles. BIAB is extremely versatile! I thought it was a nice idea, particularly for more recent forum members, to make a quick compilation of what I consider the most interesting harmony parts. I've merged them into a compilation of just below six minutes. Not too long I hope .
You may want to listen to this a couple of times. It'll grow on you . Our apologies for not listing the used RTs and RDs, we've done that in the actual posts of course.
I remember a forum member asking some years ago: "The Atmosphere Pad in your songs, what synth do you use?"

Haha yes, my free vocal packs. It's been a while, they are still available online for free . Mostly reposted, as the original download links expired years ago if I'm not mistaken.
Every now and then I get an email from someone who created a new track with them. It's mostly "minimal" music because the vocals will force the arrangement into a specific key. The samples can be a little bit hard to mangle...
Anyway, a while ago I stumbled upon this one. I believe this is a German producer using my samples. I love the instrumental section at the end! Interesting video as well:

I can relate! I love singing period but for me there's not much of anything more fun than singing harmonies and background vocals. My best friend in second grade and I used to get out her parents albums and sing along with all the great harmony groups back in the early sixties. It was a passion from then on. Enjoyed yours very much. You two have a really pretty tonal blend.
It is as you describe - an exemplar of harmonies performed by people whose voices naturally blend and can be built into castles of oooohs n ahs. Very cool. Time for a master class.

Cool! Your vocals are always excellent, and the layered sound is stellar.
I love that vocal sound. I'm usually too lazy to do more than a single counter-line, but maybe this will help motivate me to do more thickened parts in my own songs.
