A short (2:10) thing for solo pedal steel guitar. No big deal, but something slightly new.
I recorded a thing with a couple of guitars, strumming away, then fed it into Logic for pitch analysis then BIAB for chord analysis, so I could add couple of MIDI parts.
I then asked BIAB to generate a solo using pedal steel soloist #2824.
This solo was so lovely I threw everything else out and kept only it, doubling it with Logic’s piano.
Interesting process and product... love the title.
Thanks, Sir Head.
For the record, the title actually refers to drinking glasses full of carrot juice, with sunlight streaming through it, which can be pretty intense. Hold a glass of CJ up to the sun and look through the juice, it's a gorgeous radioactive orange that will make you feel like Super-Popeye when you drink it.

Wow... I gotta try that... I tried eating spinach out of a can, and it didn't work.

Nice solo! Great how it worked out. New cover music for Carrot Top to help him find the straight and narrow? Nah.

Mike B, Mr. Maartian. Ray C... Thanks for your comments.
This may seem an odd way to create music – ultimately deleting all the parts I actually composed and performed – but they had played their role in the generation of the solo, and only sounded mediocre in concert with it.
It's like Ludwig Wittgenstein said at the end of Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus:
Quote:
My propositions serve as elucidations in the following way: anyone who understands me eventually recognizes them as nonsensical, when he has used them—as steps—to climb beyond them. (He must, so to speak, throw away the ladder after he has climbed up it.)
He must transcend these propositions, and then he will see the world aright.
Janice said it reminded her of Jerry Douglas solo noodling on the dobro...a good thing.

Cool backstory and a nice resulting lush piece. Janice said it reminded her of Jerry Douglas solo noodling on the dobro...a good thing.

Thanks folks. In the light of much larger contributions, I appreciate that this little thing gave some good listen. Its original title in fact was "My Boring Song". But the pedal steel added some serious Moxie; that #2824 is an awfully good musician.
That's really cool, Mark. The piano is just the right volume, and it's wonderful how you doubled it. The title and your explanation are quite interesting too. I've listened 3 times so far. The PSG is really cool, but I like the piano's interpretation. I like how you see things that we can eventually hear.
