Hi Robert,

On my vacation one night i couldn't sleep. So I started muzing around in my head and suddenly you appeared in it!
No, it didn't gave me a nightmare or whatsoever, I was wondering how long ago I heard from you. and then some others like Jim, or Stephan joined that party. At home, after making my War song, I had to listen to all the other songs made in the last few weeks and there was your very cool funky song! You are back! was my first thought, but then fear hits, was I mistaken? Were you here all the time and have I missed it?

Whatever, this is a good song with also good lyrics and with strong vocals!
You're back!

Hans

Songs based on a simple rhythm and few chords can be interesting in unexpected ways. I think Springsteen's Streets of Philadelphia and Missing are perfect examples of that.

This brings me back to many years ago (pre-computer era) when I saved and partially borrowed a couple of hundred "Gulden" (nobody here in the Netherlands had heard of Euros just yet) to get me an Alesis Drum Computer.

The rhythms were inspirational and I came up with a couple of concepts that, in retrospect were more interesting than some songs that involved more complicated chords/arrangements.

Back to your song Robert ;-)

You've achieved something very interesting here. Well done!
There's probably more where this came from? Feel free.

Rob

Cool one chord track Bob! The backing supports your vocal just right! I like the pickup in the vibe of the tune about 3/4 of the way through! Thanks, Torrey
