I am confused. A chord can be as many bars as you want.
Or are you talking about the number of chords in a measure/bar? In 4/4 time you can have 4 chords per bar in your BiaB version. In 2/4 time you can have 2 chords per measure and in 3/4 you can have 3 chords per measure.
