There was a duo back in the 70's and 80's from Texas...they called themselves "Harvest"...I always wanted to sound and write just like they did...I never could (I lacked their talent and giftings)...this song was my attempt to write in the style they wrote in and sing in the way they sang...it was just two guys but their songs usually had their vocals stacked with lush harmonies that they multitracked...this song is a tribute to "Harvest" they will never hear it but that's okay if you guys listen...hope you enjoy.

Man, another one that is top notch Dan. I haven't heard windchimes used much in a while and it did bring me back. Love your stuff, top quality.

Thanks Brad...yeah the era of windchimes is sorta past...yeah...I'm starting a revival of windchimes (and maybe cowbell) movement! Thanks for your comments.

That was awesome! Really well done.

Was the vibrato in the harmonies all you or did you use some kind of vocal effects pedal or something? There is a trilling quality in it that is just very interesting.

Great subject, too. smile

And if I may ask, what is that B3 that you used?

Very pleasantly surprised. This is really good. The vocals and backing vocals are first-class if you ask me!

What they said! Excellent vocals, smooth backing, nice write.

I like the way to lean into the rhymes.

Lovely work, as usual. smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Sterling...thanks for your comments...so glad you liked the song...the vibrato is mine...been trying to shake that for years...I wanted really thick harmony so I sang three parts plus added a harmonizer to thicken it even more...if the vibrato was accentuated it's probably the harmonizer of my voice in the higher parts...the B3 is the rock organ on the Yamaha Tyros 5...I really like that patch and use it whenever I need a good organ part...thanks for listening and commenting...Dan

Very soothing Daniel both lyrically and the production...of course your vocals are amazing as well. Did you write this in 2001 and then just recently produced it with BIAB?

Dewey...thanks for your comments...yes I wrote this around 2001 and recorded it back then...I recently ripped the vocals off of that old recording...left the instrumental tracks I liked in and added new BiaB tracks to freshen the whole thing up and VOILA! a old song with a fresh sound...truth is almost every song I post on this forum is done that way.
