Does the OmniPAK include the 2022 PlusPAK?
Also, is the OmniPak ever on sale? As a student the price is high and no educational discount.

The OmniPAK includes everything that the PlusPAK has. The Omni does not usually have a special, but you can contact us directly for advice on your specific options. You can either contact us via live chat on our website, or email sales@pgmusic.com.
Please note that The PlusPAK is only for people who had last years UltraPAK or higher because it only includes the RealTracks that are released for its particular version year. This way people who had last years UltraPAK don't need to install RealTracks that they already have.

No the Audiophile Edition also has the uncompressed RealTracks. The difference between the OmniAudiophile and the Audiophile is that the Omni also includes all of the Xtra Styles PAKs, as well as our other software that is not related to Band-in-a-Box. So the only way to get the Xtra Styles PAKs is to buy the Omni version or buy the Xtra Styles PAKs separately, i.e. no Xtra Styles PAKs in the audiophile or lower?
Thinking the website could use a more comprehensive comparison table that includes the omni version, :o)
I guess I start saving.

Not wishing to sound like Colombo, but one more thing - actually a few:
How do I upgrade the OmniPak - the site shows no upgrade options.Full fee evry update?
Also if microsoft make a change to windows, and this causes a bug, will the 2022 version be fixed if we are in 2023?
I can see that upgrades include things like new tracks, but will the core software be maintained for years at no extra cost - in a similar way to Reaper?

Please contact us directly either over live chat or email sales@pgmusic.com for upgrade options if you have a previous Omni.
We provide build updates throughout the year for the current version of Band-in-a-Box. You will find these under the Support tab of our website. Once we move on to the next version of Band-in-a-Box usually there aren't updates for the previous version. Sometimes there are exceptions depending on the situation. Comparing to Apple, Microsoft is slower in releasing new OS systems, so historically the Windows version of Band-in-a-Box can function for a while without needing to upgrading to a new version. Though many people do like to upgrade each year in order to have the new RealTracks.
New RealTracks are not compatible with older versions of Band-in-a-Box. For example the RealTracks that were released for the 2022 version will not work with the 2021 version. This is why we offer the PlusPAK for people who have the previous years UltraPAK or higher.

So what is the cost of upgrading e.g. OmniPak 2021 to OmniPak 2022?
So what if I just want to upgrade the main program with no extra file updates? Is that an option, and how much?

PG Music releases a new version every year for both Windows and Macintosh. They normally offer a program only update for a nominal cost during the release sale. The program only update is generally not listed as a product after the release sale ends.
You will need to contact Sales for questions concerning cost.

This is spot on. This forum is just that a user forum. Fortunately PG Music staff come in here regularly. But to really get your questions answered with the exact right answer, give them a call, use the live chat or email the sales department as was suggested a couple of times.
