Super song. Excellent choice in instrumentation.
You have captured that swing band sound with perfection.
Loved that bass!

Good backing band, catchy tune and a strong lyric. Unlike some of your other recordings (I'll Sleep When I'm Dead and Penny in my Pocket) the vocals in this one sounds like you're way over on stage left and you're singing through a triple-layer surgical mask. Otherwise, great job.
My music may not set the world on fire but if it causes a glow in just one person's heart, it has all been worthwhile

Good tune, expressively sung. As Ghostgum said, catchy tune with a strong lyric. As Ghostgum noted, the lead vocal is more on the left side, with the harmony line on the right. With the stereo separation, the harmony voice is a pretty prominent, and is singing a lot of "jazzy" intervals. I think it detracts a bit from the vocal. But I also agree with Mario - two thumbs up!

A good song, Elliott. Love that bass. This is so good all around. The perfect band for sure. Excellent lyrics and changes. To me the snare seems a bit too strong.

Thanks for listening and your comments. I cleaned up the vocals and remixed it and reposted it based on your feedback. I am looking for a singer who can do a Michael Buble' kind of vocal for this song ... my voice is not right for this tune.

Yeah, you cats are swingin' tight on this... a really cool tune, and clever lyrics. Other than just a few minor pitchy spots, (that could be tuned up easily), I think your voice is perfect for this... you have a rare, distinctive vocal quality, that stands out, and sets you apart.

Love it right from the title, Elliott. Sand Dancing is such fun and so is this song. Cool percussion. Excellent lyrics and vocal, as usual. Not sure about the vocal delay in the quieter sections. Cool bridge with strong swells. I like the way the whole song almost features the cool walking bass. Excellent choice on instrumentation and such a good mix.

i really liked this. great lyrics/arrangement.
really nice backing...liked that bass walk.
altho' not my genre , the melody has really stuck in my mind...very hooky.
