Cool vacation tune. Certainly carries the Caribbean vibe. Mix suggestions: I thought the bass was a little to far out front. Vocal and harmonies could come forward and pull the backing band back a bit.

Listening to this song I had a flashback to our Caribbean cruise we took a number of years ago.
You had the paradise groove going on for sure
Super vocal and backing band - I thought the bass sounded just fine

A wonderfully inviting song, Elliott. Yes, the bass is too loud, and I almost NEVER say that. You bring back some magic moments from many island vacations. You simultaneously show what's so special about the islands and increase the desire to return.

Thanks for listening and your suggestions. I did a remix with new vocals. I tried to get a live sound, a little sloppy, laid back, gonja feel, as if a real reggae band was playing on the beach in Jamaica Ya Mon!

I can still hear the ganja guy, but it's like he found the mic. Cool song. The harmony is the perfect taste. Love that busy bass, and it has a much better volume. Cool flowing bridge.

You captured the laid back feel very well. Bass and percussion had me bopping.
Out here on the wet coast we get five minutes of sun and folks say - "isn`t this great: another day in paradise"- I like your location and the soundtrack better!

"...I want to live in paradise and live more than survive..." well I think no one will disagree with that, I'm sure!
You made a nice tropical song, with the swell sounding steelband. I used that instrument as well lately in 'the ocean'.
I think you got the 'island- mood'with this one.
Good vocals, a bit sad lyrics, but at the same time it also sounds pretty happy. That's a good mix!
