First of all, I want to say how much I appreciate Mac, and his seemingly tireless efforts to give us answers to our questions. Some of these are work-arounds, and end in ultimate success, even if it requires a bit more work to make it happen.
That said, I really do think that it would be desirable, in some cases, to request a new feature--and what I want to suggest is that, since in some cases, voicing is important to the overall feel of a song, it would be helpful to be able to enter some of those chords in particular voicings that more suit us. For instance, I had a problem entering an [Em7b9] chord. Mac, in his extensive experience, suggested that, since the chord is spelled [egbdf], I should try a [G7/E] as a sub. That got all the notes in, but the voicing didn't seem to fit. I ended up just using a straight [Em7] instead, since I can always add that note in the melody. I wish I'd thought of it earlier, before I bothered you all!
There is a small number of chords like that, which can't be directly entered for one reason or another, but if we could?!?! it would be nice to just put them in directly. Anyone else on board here?
