Will do! When you say to "freeze" a song, is that simply saving it?

The strange thing is that the song will sound fine one time, and on the next play there is an off note in a random measure here or there. It is intermittent.

It seems to happen most often on the I-chord (e.g. an A major chord in the key of A). BIAB will sometimes play a #4 note on the I-chord (you'll hear a D# note played over an A-major chord in the key of A).

It has also happened on a iim chord (e.g. Bm in the key of A). Changing the chord to Bm7 remediated the issue.

I finally overcame this thru perseverance by doing the following steps:

  • Change the I-chord (e.g. A) to A2
  • Change the key of a V-chord (e.g. E in the key of A) to the key of E for the measure that sounds a bit off
  • I repeated this, chasing the new locations for the weird sounding harmony until I was able to export to AIFF format with everything working. This took 5 attempts to get it sounding right.
