Hey Christian...first of all you used an "F" word four times in your title...don't know if I've ever heard folk and funk used in the same sentence let alone the same music...that was really interesting and really good!

That was actually nicely compatible. It had more of a jazz feel than anything else.
The waa waa on the hold could have been a tad faster to keep the tempo feel. Aside from that no nits.

Chris you mashed up folk and funk very VERY WELL It does sound more like Fazz (that is jazz but I thought you needed another F)  Super groove and instrument selection mixed to perfection Two thumbs up

I must admit that when I heard the title I was intrigued, but didn't think I'd like it - boy was I wrong! Quite a mixture, and I would have never thought of it, but you blended them perfectly. Really liked the instruments you chose and how you chose to use them. Came up with a real original and captivating sound. Great mix.
