The RealTracks in Utility Tracks now get deleted if you try changing to a different style.
I don't remember if that this happened previously, or if it's just with the newer versions.
I thought that I used to be able to keep the RealTracks, on the Utility Tracks, and try slightly different styles that might work better for me.
But, now the RealTracks get wiped and leave MIDI remnants behind. BIAB 2022 Win 923 (and 924).
I'd sure like to keep those RealTracks there!

Hello Thunderthud! If you freeze the RealTracks that you have added to the Utility Tracks they will remain after you change the Style. If you want to regenerate those Utility Tracks tracks after changing the Style, simply unfreeze them. Just be sure that each time you change the Style of the song that you freeze the Utility Tracks you wish to keep.

Will try that.
But, I can't see that this is a good thing to happen by default. That is, taking away working tracks and leaving junk behind.
Is this something that might be addressed?

It likely has to do with how some of the new Styles in the 2022 use RealTracks that are on the Utility tracks. So if you had selected one of those, the previously loaded RealTracks on the Utilities would be replaced by the RealTracks in the Style. We will pass your feedback along to the development team to look into.

We will pass your feedback along to the development team to look into. Chantelle, Thank you for your reply, but it is NOT the reason. The styles I have been using have NO utility tracks in the style. This happens universally. Please give it a try yourself. It can be quite destructive. But I do understand what you were saying, and would expect a style containing utility tracks to replace what's already there.

To clarify, I understood that this is happening with all Styles. It was my thought process that it is possible that this is applied with all Styles due to the inclusion of new Styles that have Utilities. So ones without Utilities have blank tracks and are therefore replacing the current utilities in the mixer with blanks. But that is just my speculation of what might be causing this. This forum thread has been passed along to the development team.
