Am still having a lot of problems. My Finale windows vere 25 file has a notation staff and a tab staff under it. (two staffs total).
Was able to export the finaled file.
Was ab;e to import the finale file into biab.
It loaded with a treble staff and a bass clef staff under it.
These songs that I want to get into biab are for guitar (just one staff), not for piano ddtwo staffs (treble and bass).

I then tried to redo the same song in finale by not doing the tab staff in case that might be the reason for the two staffs when importing it to biab.
No luck. It still had a bass clef included.
I wondered if I could raise everything up an octave. That could possibly fix it since the music is in the piano music (so to speak) octave. Raising should put it in the guitar range anyway.
I don't know how to raise notes an octave in biab unless I can select all notes and tranpose to an octave higher.
Tried to import an xml file from finale but with same results.
