Do you know if there is a way that RealBand can recognise such tempos fluctuations? As an added query to all you experts I presume I am correct in assuming that BIAB2010 obviously cannot cope with such changes but I thought RealBand would be able to.

Real Band follows tempo changes just fine so I don't know what the problem is with your file and it's the same with Biab, you're assumption is incorrect.
