I never used keystrokes when editing notes before.
But: the way it is explained in the online help does not work. In fact, I can select notes (highlight them in red) with the two "Ins/Del" keys of the numeric keypad in the editable notation mode and then also change the pitches with the up/down arrow keys. In fact, however, the right/left keys have none of the functions that can be set in the options, but only move the cursor one eighth to the right or left.
For me this looks like a bug. Thanks Brille, That's similar to what I experienced. I think something is broken, and will report it.
